"QDP is not a dance studio to us, but our second home." - Effie
Queens Dance Project believes that every child is unique. Every child should have the opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity and confidence in a nurturing and safe environment. We want children to feel inspired, encouraged and motivated in our positive dance community.
We want every child to feel like a star.
The new QDP: *New class times All kids classes will now be 55 minutes long. By cutting the class times by 5 minutes, you and your child will have the opportunity to meet with the teacher and ask any questions you might have. We will also be able to dismiss students while allowing time to set up for the next class. There will be no more crowded hallways or confusion. *Individualized attention Instead of offering 3 classes at a time, we will now be focusing on only 1 class each hour. Depending on the class, class sizes will range between 10-12 students, with 1-3 teachers in each class. The director, teacher, and receptionist will be on hand to answer any questions or help with anything you or your child may need. *Confidence All children will get the opportunity to shine and build their confidence. Whether it's performing at a community event, being student of the month, or winning a Superstar card during class, we want to show all QDP members that they are special. Look out for the Student of the Month board and Superstar Wall of Fame in our lobby! Our new QDP All Star Performance Ensemble will allow all QDP students over the age of 6 to learn and perform choreography with different teachers. We will perform at local events such as fundraisers, retirement homes, children's hospitals and street fairs! *Community We want everyone to feel welcomed at QDP. As part of our dance family, we plan to schedule trips to see shows, movies and other special outings. This will allow for bonding, creating and building friendships and just overall fun! *Communication As usual, we will be sending email communication about classes, events or other special announcements. You will also have clear access to our communication board in our waiting room. There, you will be able to find information on upcoming events, important dates and other studio related information.
