The registration/insurance fee is $25.00 per family. All accounts are required to sign up for autopay. Tuition payments will be withdrawn from accounts on the 5th of the month. You can pay by either cash or check before the 5th of the month.
Tuition is based on an average of 36 weeks. NOT by the number of classes in the month. The yearly tuition is broken down into 10 equal payments.
Please note that payments made are non-refundable. This includes tuition, shoes, tights, costumes, tickets, etc. Credit will be given for payments that are made is a student decides to withdraw from class. Withdrawal from any class must be made in writing and credit will not be given until the written notice is received.
All balances must be up to date before a child will be permitted to perform in the recital.
The bounced check fee is $15.00. Once a check bounces, payments will only be accepted in cash.
Proper attire is expected to be worn in class. Please visit the designated class web page for proper class attire.
There are to be NO Videos or Photography in class without student, parents and teacher permission.
Parents are asked to wait in the designated waiting area by the benches in the hallway. Please do not wait for your child in the dancers waiting area by the cubbies.
QDP is NOT responsible for children who are dropped off early to class. Parents MUST remain with their children until the class begins. At that time, parents may leave and a phone call will be made if the parent is needed to pick up the child for any reason including illness, injury or an upset child. Please be sure to pick your child on time.
If a class is missed for illness or a school closing, a make-up class will be available within one month of the missed class. There will not be any make up classes after May 1 as all classes will be preparing for their recital dances. There is no make up for days when the studio is closed for holidays. All the days were taken into account when the monthly tuition price was established. Please call the studio in cases of inclement weather. A recorded message will be available by 2:30pm on weekdays and by 9:00am on Saturdays.
Punctual and consistent attendance is required of all students.
Please do not interrupt the class for any reason. Meetings with teachers can be arranged before or after class time.
Costume prices range from $70-$85 dollars depending on the class. COSTUME EXCHANGES WILL COST $20. Parents MUST check all costume sizes before any costumes are ordered. The costume fee includes a free pair of tights.
There is no food allowed in the studio. Dancers may only bring bottled water to class.
Cell phones must be off or on silent.
Queens Dance Project reserves the right to cancel and/or change class times, days or teachers. Classes with less than 5 registered students can be cancelled, combined or changed.
Please keep your child home if they are showing signs of sickness. We want to keep everyone healthy and happy! QDP reserves the right to deny entrance to any child who appears to be too sick to participate in class.
