Please be advised that due to an error, dress rehearsal is WEDNESDAY, MAY 30 not, Tuesday, May 29.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. All rehearsal times remain the same.
The annual recital will be Friday, June 15 at Queensborough Community College.
IMPORTANT INFO!
The recital will be held at Queensborough Community College on Friday, June 15 at 7:30pm. The arrival time for QDP company members is 6:30pm, non company members should arrive at 7:00pm. All dancers should arrive with hair and make-up done. All dancers are required to remain backstage during the entire performance. Tickets cost $22 and can be purchased at the studio and at the door the day of the recital. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 6 at 12:00pm.
The dress rehearsal is mandatory and will be on Tuesday, May 29 starting at 5pm. Exact performance time for each dance will be given out closer to the scheduled date. All students are required to attend in order to get accustomed to performing on stage. Costumes are to be worn and hair should be done as required for each dance.
Photography of any kind is prohibited at the recital. We will have a professional photographer videotaping the recital. You are welcomed to videotape the dress rehearsal.
Flowers, yearbooks, snacks and dance related gifts will be sold at the recital.
The last day of classes is Saturday, June 23. (No class Saturday, June 16) We will have guest teachers, special deals and Bring a Friend (or more!) to class the week following the recital.
Every year we print a QDP yearbook which has all the group photos from the recital. For $2 you can write a short message to your favorite QDP dancer! The boosters MUST be one typed line only. Please hand in all boosters by Saturday, May 26.
