Questions for kids

Making a connection with students is important. Before I begin any class, I always like to ask the kids a different question. Sometimes it's "Did you do anything fun this weekend?", "What's something fun you did in school today?", or "What's for dinner tonight?". This gets the kids talking and they begin to connect with each other. Even my shyest students have fun answering the question of the day and building friendships. This is an great article on different questions you can ask your children at home when they get home from school or dance!
What questions do you ask your kids? Whats gets them engaged? Let me know in the comments!
